Monumental Older McCarty / McCartys Pottery Vase / Mississippi
This fabulous vase has everything a collector wants in older McCartys pottery except maybe the Merigold signature! It is made of the old clay, glazed in early jade, and has the earthiness of what I consider their best pieces. It has personality; a satiny, tactile finish and at 12 and 9+ pounds the vase commands its setting. I’m guessing it was made in the mid to late 70s. Thanks for your interest!
