Huge Early Derek Clarkson Studio Pottery Vase -26.3cm (10 3/8) High
A very large Derek Clarkson studio pottery vase, dating from the 1960s/70s. Derek Clarkson started potting at his Rossendale pottery, Lancashire in the early 50s. By this time he was experimenting with crystaline glaze effects. He estimated that he made this pot in the mid 1960s. Potter’s mark “DC” to the edge of the foot. Derek Clarkson died in 2013. Measures approx 26.3 cm (10 3/8) high. Overall excellent vintage condition with no faults at all. P lease see photos for condition.
