Hannah Simpson is a young artist from London whose work has gained recognition for its unique approach to ceramics and sculpture. Hannah Simpson Studio was created in June 2020 as a way to stay occupied during the Covid-19 lockdown. She studied Fine Art at Loughborough University, and during that time, she interned for Nacho Carbonell, which is where her passion for design began. She has always had an interest in sculpture, so creating functional artwork came naturally to her. Her aspiration is to create beautiful sculptures that live among us and become part of our daily lives. She is constantly inspired by the world around her: nature, people, and emotions. Her most recent work has a deep connection with the idea of change. The world is in a constant state of movement, and nothing stays the same or lasts forever. Having the ability to create something that brings joy or inspires someone, even for just a second, is what she seeks with her practice. Vase looks like new. No chips or cracks.
