Deirdre Burnett Studio Pottery Ground Volcanic Glazed Stoneware Bowl
Probably an experimental piece the whole surface of the glaze has been abraded back to leave a smooth surface reminiscent of ancient plaster work or a piece of coral. The mark has also been ground to reveal it from under the glaze. MAKERS MARKS – impressed to base as shown. SIZE – approx 14.5cm (5 3/4in) diameter, 7cm (2 3/4in) high.
