Stunning George Cass Studio Pottery Stoneware Globe Vase Brown/Black 7
This is a stunning piece of studio pottery stoneware by George Cass in Stevenage, Hertfordshire and has his impressed initials mark on the base. It is a stoneware globular vase with a funnel neck, decorated in black and brown in an abstract pattern and has a high gloss glaze. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is one tiny fault in the glaze – please see photos – but this is a firing anomaly and not damage. Measures approx 7″ high and 7″ in diameter at its widest point. Weighs 1065 grams unwrapped.
