Offering this stunning midcentury sandstone and blue glazed tall vase designed by Inger Persson in Sweden for Rörstrand Atelje. Made circa 1960, Sweden. CONDITION: Excellent pre-owned condition. A couple small flea bites to rim as shown in super magnified photos. Diameter: 3.50 (opening). Weight: 4.6lbs before packaging. Inger Persson is a swedish ceramist and designer born in 1936. She is one of the most well-known artists of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design movement of the 20th century. She was one of the leading designers for the Rörstrand factory in the 1960s. Persson is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design. Her work is highly sought-after by collectors. My low opening price is not representative of item value. All sales are final.
