Akio Takamori Early Decorated Pottery Fish Hanging Vase Northwest Perfect
Here is a fabulous early career decorated slab fish wall vase by Akio Takamori. This work would have been done while at the Archie Bray Foundation in the 1980’s. It measures 13.5″ tall x 6″ wide and sits 2 off the wall. It has a great polychrome glaze decorated with his typical slit eyes. Signed on the chin of the fish on the left side. Excellent condition with no damage to mention. A rare piece of early work by this amazing northwest artist that we lost last year. Pictures should tell the story.
