A WONDERFUL Huge Vintage. Handmade Frith Thrown Stoneware Vase. A beautiful highly decorative glazed David Frith HUGE stoneware vase or tall bottle. David Frith is a long standing member of the Crafts Potters association in London, a selected member of The Crafts Council, and a founder member of the North Wales Potters association. He lives in Denbighshire with his wife and fellow potter Margaret Frith. They run the Brookhouse pottery and both widely exhibit throughout the UK. David’s pots are a testament to his mastery in ceramics and are highly collectible. Thrown piece features flowing brushwork decoration using various stoneware glazes. We have asked a CPA. Who has confirmed this as David’s work from approx 20+ years ago as the glaze has flowed into the 2 round impression marks- see pic. The vase is in very good condition (no chips), with one stress crack at the edge where the body starts tapering to the neck on one side- Please see all pics. Size height approx 21 or 53.5 cms. Approx width at widest point 9.75 or 25 cm. Approx diameter at base 5 or 12.75 cm. Item can be viewed and collected from The Peculiar Gallery, Abergele, Conwy Ll22 7AA.
