Alan Clarke Studio Pottery’Futuristic magic’, Trial vase. Outstanding show piece
This is my last Vase, in this Shape, from Alan Clarke and I think the best, which is why I have kept it until now. This was specially created by Alan Clarke for me and Alan has gone done a fantastic job. Alan still used his unique spraying talents, plus additions. Alan wanted to show’Futuristic Space’ on a vase that had Sun, Planets, Fire, Bits of Meteorites, Black Holes and the Maze of Outer Space, as if you are lost travelling through the Universe. As he knew I like Blue, he add some blue, which is always more difficult to hold on a red background. What a brilliant job Alan did on this vase to make it even more special. It is marked’Trial’ as the work involved was so much more than just Spraying on a design. I have admired for over 20 years sitting in my cabinet of’Archive New Pieces’, but now having moved must downsize, so will let another specialist Collector now have the chance to own. So if you want a unique, stand out piece from Alan Clarke, either as a present or for your Collection, good luck. It is as I bought it over 20 years ago, never had any water in or flowers. Excellent condition, No chips, cracks or Damage. Approx 11 1/2 Tall or 29 cms. Fully marked base, see all my photos. Sadly, Alan no longer has his own Studio, so will not be producing unique Studio individual pieces like this Vase again. If you have any questions please ask. If you need more photos please ask too. I think the vase looks even better than in the photos….. If you want something special for any Alan Clarke fan, they will love this.
