Vintage George Cook Ambleside Studio Pottery Lidded Pot Stoneware 1940s
This vintage lidded pottery is an early piece by George Cook, an English artist, is a beautiful addition to any collection. The stoneware material and beige colour make it a versatile usable and/or decorative item. Made in the United Kingdom, estimated during the 1940s (not dated so this can’t be confirmed), this piece is a testament to Cook’s talent and the time period in which it was created. George Cook, both founded and was also the main designer at Ambleside Pottery. There is a small nick/chip on the underside of the lid. This can’t be seen when the lid is on.
