John Struthers Studio Pottery Large Bulbous Vase. John Struthers set up in Orkney, Scotland in 1985. Prior to that he taught art and art history for about 20 years. He studied at Falmouth School of Art (BA Hons Fine Art – Sculpture) and the pottery was established in 1989. His work has been exhibited widely including London, Paris and Edinburgh with work in notable private collections worldwide. Has’JAS’ impressed on the base. Measurements: sits 6.25inches high, just over 2.5inches wide at base and 4.5inches wide at the opening. Condition: fair overall condition, has a slither off the inside rim which cannnot be seen from the front – please see all photos provided as these form part of the condition report.
