Takeshi Yasuda Studio Pottery Tea Bowls or Yunomis Signed by the artist. The stamp was used pre 1992 hence the date it was produced. The Sancai glaze or 3 coloured glaze is used together with a’sprig’ decoration which those familiar with his work will recognise. One of them as in all meoto pairs is larger than the other and represents the husband, the smaller Yunomi the wife. There are Shinto shrines close to the rocks which are known as Meoto Iwa, these form the inspiration for the yunomis.
