Stunning Bernard Rooke Brutalist Vase. Brutalist style vase by renowned British Potter Bernard Rooke (b1938) in the 60’s. Typically sculptural with Rookes signature toroidal roundels and coils and relief moulded detailing. Made of heavy stoneware pottery with characteristic earthy glaze. Measures 20cm x 15cm. Excellent condition no chips or cracks. A Brutalist style vase made by British potter Bernard Rooke b. 1938 in the 1960s. It is typically sculptural with Rooke’s signature toroidal roundels and coils, and relief moulded detailing. It is made of heavy stoneware pottery with characteristic earthy glaze. It bears Rooke’s impressed mark near the base. It is in good condition.
