Vtg 1975 Signed Studio Pottery Vase 14 Hand Carved Textured Tribal Southwestern. Vintage hand-signed studio pottery vase, dated 1975. This substantial 14-inch ceramic vessel features deeply carved and incised decorative bands including rope twist, bead, scroll, and fluted motifs. The matte earth-tone clay body gives it a natural, sandy texture with strong architectural presence. The piece is hand signed and dated on the underside (appears to read “Barb 75″ – please see photos for exact signature). Details. Height: approx. 14. Hand carved decoration throughout. Matte, unglazed earth-tone clay. Felt pads applied to base. Signed and dated on underside. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No cracks or repairs observed. Minor age-appropriate wear to underside. A beautiful example of 1970s American studio pottery with strong Southwestern / tribal influence. Displays wonderfully as a statement piece.
