1946 – Lidded stoneware pot from Ainstable. Jim Malone is a renowned British studio potter known for stoneware, often featuring ash glazes and Japanese-inspired incised decorations e. His lidded casseroles and jars typically bear impressed marks (often “JM” or Ainstable/Lessonhall pottery marks). Condition is good, a couple of abrasions to inner lif as per photos. Impressed JM & Ainstable marks.
