This stylish stoneware vase stands on a rounded unglazed base with a rounded bottle shaped body with a narrow funnel neck and fold back top rim. The vase has a stoneware coloured ground spattered with matt brown glazes with three brown lines applied around the lower body.
On the base impressed mark Leeds. Made in England (gold over glaze) and hand painting number 6244.
Design by Ellen Karlson. All four are studio stamped and signed in wet clay.
