Ian Auld 3 X Slab Built Studio Pottery Vases Label Dated 1957 Signed Very Rare
One vase has loss to the glaze towards the base – this is shown with a ruler very clearly in the photos. Size is shown of each vessel with a ruler height and longest base side. Size varies from 9 cm to 6.5 cm tall. They are all marked IA in a rounded corner square stamp. This mark is not very clear but also very hard to get a good defined photo. Two have additional paper labels. This is a very early example of Ian Aulds’ work. Most likely made at his home in Saffron Walden. Happy to supply more photos if required.
