On offer is a relatively early example of Rose Cabat’s Feelie Pottery. The piece is large, at 4″ in height and 3″ across. The glaze is very unusual and very beautiful, with shades of purple, pink and tan in a rainbow-like effect. The underside is marked Cabat. The vessel is in very good condition. The top rim has sustained a large nick. There are no other chips, cracks or other problems to note. A rare and fine work from one of America’s greatest ceramic artists.
