This is a superbly hand thrown stoneware thick running green ash glaze footed bowl / tazza with iron speckles by Richard Batterham. It is decorated with his classic cut-sided pattern. A great example of his work and a joy to hold and use. 18cm rim diameter, 10.5cm high. A small shallow glaze chip to the inner rim, otherwise it is in excellent, original condition – no cracks, hairlines or restoration. Age-related crazing as usual, in the making.
