This is a large, impressive, superbly hand thrown stoneware thick running green ash glaze jug with iron speckles by the most revered potter Richard Batterham. A great example of his work and a joy to hold and use. 28cm high, 13cm base diameter. 1.845 kg unpacked. Chip to the inner rim near the spout and a minute glaze flake near the base of the handle, otherwise it is in very good, original condition – no cracks, hairlines or restoration.
