Charlotte Jones Very Large Handbuilt And Burnished Bowl
A superb, very large bowl by Charlotte Jones, Falmouth. Charlotte makes her pottery from a variety of local Cornish clays which she dyes. She builds the pot by coiling each layer of clay and then burnishes the surface. This is the largest example of her work I have seen. Width 31 cms, height 13 cms. Marked CJ 10 to the base.
