Stunning Celadon Glazed Double Gourd 27cm Large Studio Pottery Vase. An absolutely stunning, good-sized celadon glazed double gourd studio pottery vase. A really beautiful vase with a mottled celadon glazed finish in excellent condition. Although the vase is very much Oriental in style it is likely this is British-made studio pottery dating to around the 1980’s. There are marks to the base that look very similar (but not quite the same) to those of 1990’s Belfast-based potter Twy Miller but the style of the vase doesn’t really fit with their usual work. Still, a really fantastic item and a very good size too at about 27.5cm high, 20cm wide and weighing almost 1.8kg. Hardwood stand not included. Please note, unusually I’ve had to use a filter on the pictures to accurately recreate the colour of the vase. The last two pictures are unfiltered but show the vase looking a paler, bluer colour. The true colour of the vase is a genuine celadon colour much closer to the first ten filtered pictures. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like further details or pictures.
