An unusual vintage studio pottery vase heavily thrown in rounded bulbous shape rounded body and graduated narrowing neck with a slightly splayed neck. The vase is decorated in matted reddy brown salt like glazes on a stone glazed ground with impressed CS AC mark along with an incised Gilchrist signature and is dated 3-4-39.
