Very rare Miroslav Smísek OBE (1925 – 2013) studio pottery vase. Born in Czechoslovakia before moving via Australia and a short stint at The Leach Pottery working with Bernard Leach, Miroslav Smísek settled in New Zealand becoming an internationally renowned ceramic artist and teacher. This rare vase is in excellent condition and is marked – it stands 26cms.
