Japanese Shigaraki Ware Vase Hanaire Kaki Signed Studio Pottery with Tomobako

Authentic Japanese Shigaraki Ware Ceramic Flower Vase (Hanaire / Kaki) with Signed Tomobako (Original Wooden Box). This vase showcases the quintessential Shigaraki-style aesthetic with its coarse, iron-rich clay texture, masterfully executed spiral grooved walls, and a stunning natural dark ash glaze around the rim accumulated during the kiln firing. Origin: Shigaraki , Japan (authenticated by the impressed rectangular kiln/master stamp on the base). Type: Traditional Flower Vessel for Ikebana / Tea Ceremony (Hanaire / Kaki). Signature: The left side of the wooden box features the hand-brushed signature and the red artist seal (Hanko) representing the “Ryuha” lineage/workshop. 18-19 cm in height (please refer to the photo with the ruler for exact scaling). Vase: Excellent, pristine vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations. The glaze and texture are completely intact. Wooden Box (Tomobako): Authentic paulownia wood box is included. Please note that one bottom corner of the box is damaged/broken (as shown clearly in the detailed close-up photo). It still holds the vase securely but reflects signs of age. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions!
