These three rectangular vases are really nice examples of Louis’s early work made in Porthleven, Cornwall, after he had left Alan Wallwork in London. Each is made from coils and the biggest is over 6 (15cm) tall. One is inscribed Lh with the other two bearing his impressed mark. None have any damage or repairs.

Thomas Fetter Studio Pottery Vase… Mcm squat art pottery vase, green and brown striped measuring. Fetter apprenticed in California with Lindley Mixon before setting up his studio in Pennsylvania. He is best known for his work in stoneware. Exhibited at the Nationals in 1962 and 1964.
