RARE Richard Batterham Studio Pottery Salt Glaze Concentric Lidded Vase Pot. This stunning rare concentric design stoneware pot, created by renowned British potter Richard Batterham, features a beautiful salt glaze. A vintage piece from the late 20th century in Batterham’s signature style.
Stoneware bowl covered with green ash glaze with incised & combed decoration by Phil Rogers. 21 cm diameter 6 cm in height. The bowl is free from damage and has no chips, cracks, repairs or renovation. Very clear, impressed mark for Phil Rogers just above the foot ring as shown in photograph.
The tenmoku breaks from blacks and browns through to rust and orange, grey decoration on top. Impressed personal mark for David Leach.
