This is an excellent example of John Dunn’s lovely raku work, with a bright orange tinged and irridescent crackle glaze on the interior and a subtle patterning on the underside. The bowl is signed on the underside in gilt by the potter.

About John Wheeldon John Wheeldon took up ceramics while he was studying at Wolverhampton Polytechnic from 1969 to 1971. He then applies a copper matt glaze to the lower part and gas fires it to 1000° C.
