About John Wheeldon John Wheeldon took up ceramics while he was studying at Wolverhampton Polytechnic from 1969 to 1971. He then applies a copper matt glaze to the lower part and gas fires it to 1000° C.
A Stretched John Maltby Decorated Cup. The golf ball in picture 1 is a size reference. Slab built stretched cup with applied open handle, decorated to both sides with yacht keels and suspended nets.
