About John Wheeldon John Wheeldon took up ceramics while he was studying at Wolverhampton Polytechnic from 1969 to 1971. He then applies a copper matt glaze to the lower part and gas fires it to 1000° C.

A rare and early studio pottery vase from Carn pottery Cornwall. John Beusmans to the base, stamped Nancledra and numbered N11. The vase is in superb condition, it features the classic Carn pottery blue and green naturalistic washes along with geometric patterns and crocus flower. 26cm in height, 8cm wide, 4cm deep.
This is an incredibly pleasing John Ward studio pottery high sided bowl. It is beautifully thrown having a very tactile surface in duck egg blue with an abstract brown design to each side. It is fully marked to the base and measures 14cm in diameter and 14.5cm tall. It is in good condition.
