A really beautiful piece, fashioned in pale stoneware with a slightly squared form. With stylised geometric design repeated around the body. Finished in a combination of matt, enamel and lustre glazes. 12.0cm diameter x 11.0cm deep.

Joan Carrillo Romero was born in Malaga in 1948. This stunning stoneware vase is typical of his work. The piece is decorated with a very modern style and it is signed. There is a tiny flea bite to the neck but this doesn’t detract at all from the aesthetic of the piece.
