A stunning, early piece of handmade British studio art glass by the renowned Okra Glassworks, founded by master glassmaker Richard P. Crafted in the iconic Art Nouveau aesthetic, this vase features a vibrant cobalt-blue ground with a lustrous iridescent sheen. It is brilliantly decorated with contrasting iridescent stylized leaves (heart-shaped lily pads) and delicate trailing vines that wrap fluidly around the body. Finished with a classic, gently crimped/scalloped rim and a flared pedestal foot. Maker: Okra Glass (England). Era: Early Production (1980s).
